Adoption Corner

Occasionally we run into some really great pets available for adoption.  Here are a few furry friends in need of a forever home.

Adpoted!

Meet Cherry, an 8 year old Mini Schnauzer!  She’s super sweet, timid, protective and loyal, and will snuggle all day and purr with delight at a good rub down.  She will melt your heart!  Cherry is great with other dogs, jealous of kids getting all of your attention, will sit/stay very well for treats and stays perfectly still for her entire haircut. She is happiest in your lap!

Cherry comes with a Bark Buster Lifetime Support Training package.

Cherry is in very good health, weighs at the high end of average (21 lbs), is spayed and current on shots.  She gets monthly heartworm preventative meds and Advantage topical flea control, which is done routinely after her monthly grooming appointment.  Cherry takes an antihistamine for occasional allergy-related itchiness.

Cherry needs to be in a home without small children.  She is timid and often seeks attention by moaning/growling submissively as she lowers her head waiting to be reassured. She’s a lovable little thing!

For more information contact Rene at email:  FAIRYLITTLENE@GMAIL.COM

ADOPTED!

Tyko the Pit Bull Terrier.  Tyko was relinquished by his owners because they were moving and could not bring him into their new apartment. Giving him to the county would have meant a death sentence, so, Fairbanks Animal Hospital took him on! This big guy is a ball of energy and love, however, he is 100% deaf! He is going through some leash training currently, and he is also working on his manners. He loves people. We were told he is great with kids, though we have not been able to witness this firsthand yet. As far as other animals, it's a mixed bag. He hasn't had much exposure to cats, so he is curious. He has played happily with our other rescue pup, but he does seem a little cage agressive at times to others. If you have a dog now, we can see how they do together gladly! This pit needs a little work, but he is super smart, and learns things fast! Tyko's adoption fee is $150. Tyko is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and neutered. ADOPTED!

Celia is a wonderful Viszla mix found wandering the streets! She is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet!  Very submissive and loving towards people, other dogs, as well as cats. We believe her to be a little less than a year old. She is in great shape, and loves to romp and play! She has some seperation anxiety problems, so she definately needs a loving, stable home where she will get lots of space to play, maybe another dog to play with, and lots of patience! Please let us know if you are at all interested in seeing Ms. Celia! Her adoption fee is $100. Celia is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered. For more information contact

ADOPTED!

Charlie is a one year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  He is a very sweet companion with lots of great energy.  He loves to play fetch with a ball, he loves to swim in a pool, he loves to go for car rides, he loves to socialize at Bow Wow Resort with other dogs, he loves to snuggle at night before he retires to his room (his crate).  He is in need of a home with no small children or cats.  He will make an excellent pet companion for the right pet family.  He comes with lifetime training support from Bark Busters Home Dog Training.  There is a $100 adoption fee for Charlie.  If you are seriously interested in Charlie, contact Kerry at 407-719-0778 or email at whiskerwall@yahoo.com
